Ok, so what the hell am I doing?<\/span><\/p>\n

This blog started out as a wordpress.com thing years ago. It was called The Rainbows End and was supposed to be for travel. Then I realised I didn\u2019t do or could afford as much travel as possibly needed to maintain a blog so that wouldn’t work. Great start.<\/span><\/p>\n

So then it expanded really broadly to cover other things (anything?) and then I panicked that I didn\u2019t have a \u2018thing thing\u2019. <\/span><\/p>\n

Like, what was my THING?<\/span><\/p>\n

So now here we are. I have a grown up domain and I\u2019ve taken advice over the years from bloggy experts \u2013 the likes of Liberty London Girl who I watched say to an audience of wannabe bloggers \u2018just get on with it! and RVK_Loves who told me to just keep writing as honestly as I do about the sometimes tough subjects I cover\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n

I tend to write when something genuinely strikes me. I don\u2019t plan anything. Mostly those moments come to me in the middle of the bloody night as I am feeding my first and cherished little baby. Ah yes, that\u2019s a big topic. Over the last few years I have covered fertility related subjects as my husband and I set sail on the good ship MISSION BABY, from my endometriosis diagnosis in 2016 to a cervical ectopic pregnancy in 2017 and everything in between\u2026like multiple surgeries and IVF. I will be adding more to all this too as I think it\u2019s crucial to share around this subject.<\/span><\/p>\n

Hubs and i are also renovating our house, adding a big old extension to it so expect some posts on that too\u2026.naturally? Are you even a blogger if you don\u2019t do up a house?! Exactly. <\/span><\/p>\n

So while I am currently on maternity leave, I do have a real job in TV, working in Marketing. Prior to that I worked in Marketing at a record label. My proper career has gifted me with working with musicians I truly admire and TV personalities, devising social media strategies, creating digital content and (very effectively and wisely) spending a heap of money to make millennials tune in to their TV sets.<\/span><\/p>\n

I have a sausage dog called Rupert and he is my everything and I don\u2019t care for people who don\u2019t get that.<\/span><\/p>\n

I\u2019ve been married to Mr G for 7 years now and he is a true inspiration if you\u2019re looking for a story about a bloke who used to be an electrician and is now an international sports commentator.<\/span><\/p>\n

I am skilled in ye olde creative artform of Letterpress and can make greetings cards and prints in my spare time.<\/span><\/p>\n

I am also qualified in teaching 7-11 year olds mindfulness, something I want to focus on in my future.<\/span><\/p>\n
